Mark has nearly thirty years of experience in architectural design and education, with a focus on Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and Building Information Modeling (BIM).
Mark is a past President of the Association for Computer Aided Design in Architecture (ACADIA) and has taught at UCLA, Cal Poly, Stanford University, and Texas A&M University.
Jack has worked in the senior management of municipal building inspections and model code plan review operations since 1985 and is currently serving as Chief Building Official for a municipality in the Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas Region.
Jack is a co-founder of the American Association of Code Enforcement, having served as Chairman and President in the organization over a period of 12 years.
Jack has served as Chairman of the Building and Energy Advisory Board of the North Central Texas Council of Governments (NCTCOG), and as Vice-Chairman of the Regional Codes Coordinating Committee of the NCTCOG
Mr. Yazdani is the Associate Director / Research Engineer, Energy Systems Laboratory, Texas Engineering Experiment Station, Texas A&M University, and provides SMARTreview with thirty years of experience in the field of energy efficiency and energy management, including his role as Principal Investigator for over $15,000,000 in research projects for the United States Department of Energy (DOE).
Carroll has thirty-three years of experience in building codes application and use, having served sixteen years as a Senior Regional Manager for the International Council of Building Officials (ICBO) and the International Code Council (ICC). As President, Pruitt Consulting, Inc., he is a registered architect in Texas, Louisiana, New Mexico, Florida and Tennessee.
Joe has worked within the software development industry since 2011, and has been involved in business management since 1992. After gaining experience in public accounting, Joe worked primarily in the health care industry in non-profit as well as for-profit companies. Joe has been involved in IPO preparation, acquisitions, process implementation, operational development, and ERP implementations.
Wei has more than 20 years of experience in Computer-Aided Architectural Design (CAAD). He has taught at Texas A&M University since 2005. His recent research has been funded by the National Science Foundation (NSF), the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH), U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating, and Air Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE), and Autodesk, Inc.
